Iconic Leadville Race Series Events Open for Registration Today
Guts, grit and determination is what it takes for most participants to enter and compete in any event in the Blueprint for Athletes Leadville Race Series. The legendary ultra-distance events known for challenging courses and distances at high elevations opens for registration today to all those who aspire to push themselves in ways they never thought possible.
New last year, the Blueprint for Athletes Leadville Race Series announced The Leadville MTB Stage Race where athletes of all abilities can experience the famed Leadville 100 MTB course over three days. The Leadville 100 Stage race is a great opportunity for beginner racers to break up the race over several days and also offers more experience racers the opportunity to preview the course, train at high altitude and qualify for the Leadville 100 MTB race.
The challenge and allure of these grueling events is what for the past 34 years has drawn competitors to the Blueprint for Athletes Leadville Race Series and starting today racers can register for numerous races and training camps to test their mettle including:

Leadville Qualifier: Wilmington Whiteface, June 5
Leadville Trail 100 MTB Training Camp 1, June 29-July 2
Leadville Trail 100 MTB Training Camp 2, July 3-6
Silver Rush 50 MTB, July 9
Leadville Qualifier: Tahoe Trail 100, July 16
Leadville Qualifier: Leadville Stage Race, July 29-31
Leadville Qualifier: Barn Burner, September 10
Run Events:
Leadville Trail Marathon and Heavy Half Marathon, Saturday June 18
Leadville 100 Run Training Camp, June 24-27
Silver Rush 50 Run, July 10
Leadville 10K Run, August 14
Additionally, the 23 annual Leadville Trail 100 MTB and 34th annual Leadville 100 Trail Run lottery selections were announced last week. All 2016 lottery entrants whether successful or unsuccessful will be notified via email. The Leadville Trail 100 MTB is planned for August 13 followed by the Leadville Trail 100 Run on August 20, 2016.
“Participating in any Leadville Race Series event is an amazing experience and huge achievement,” said Josh Colley, Leadville Race Series race director. “We’d like to encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zone in 2016, try a new event and push their limits to beyond what they thought possible.
