New Year, New Faces
Dear Leadville Trail 100 Family,
As you may have noticed, there have been some changes taking place here at the Leadville Race Series over the past few weeks and we’re excited to introduce you to a few new faces on our team.
After six years as Race Director for the Leadville Race Series, Josh Colley has decided to set up his own event production company, Youphoria Productions, staying close to the Leadville family producing three qualifying events – Austin Rattler, Wilmington Whiteface and Tahoe Trail. While we are sad that we won’t see Josh around the office every day, our qualifying events will be in incredibly capable hands.
Paul Anderson, who has been an integral part of the LRS team and community for the past four seasons, will be stepping into Josh’s role as Race Manager to ensure we are delivering the absolute best race experience in the world for our athletes.
We’d also like to introduce you to our new Athlete Services Manager, Quinn Cooper. As a former Silver Rush 50 Run participant and avid runner, Quinn knows exactly what it’s like to be in your shoes as an athlete and is thrilled to join the Leadville Race Series team.
Our former Athlete Services Manager, Abby Long, has taken on a new role as Executive Director of an organization we hope you’re very familiar with, the Leadville Legacy Foundation. We’ll continue working closely with Abby to help grow the Legacy Foundation and positively impact the communities of Leadville and Lake County.
You’ll hear more about Paul and Quinn over the next few weeks, but rest assured you’re in good hands with this new team in place. Our entire organization is dedicated to making this year’s Leadville Race Series events the absolute best yet.
We can’t wait to meet all of you over the next few months as we start to ramp up for an unforgettable summer in Leadville!
See you on the trails,
The Leadville Race Series Team
