There is a 8.5-hour total time limit, and there will be an aid station cut off at 2 p.m. at Resurrection inbound (11m).
Race number and packet pickup are on Friday at Race Headquarters, 316 Harrison Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on race day at Race Headquarters from 6 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.
There will be 5 well-supplied aid stations for the Heavy Half.
There will be trash and recycling containers at all full aid stations and the start/finish line. Please discard any trash in an appropriate container or within 100 yards of the aid station. Intentional littering on the course will be grounds for disqualification. The course – on trails both public and private – travels past many historic sites and through areas of exceptional beauty. Help us keep them pristine.
We will be recycling all plastic and aluminum during these races, and all our events. We’ll take care of this at the aid stations. At the start/finish, please ensure you place trash or recyclable materials in the appropriate containers, which will be well marked.
All finishers receive a finishers medal. The awards ceremony and post-race meal will take place at the Sixth Street Gym at 5pm. Include staying for the awards in your race day plans. We recognize all finishers and have a fantastic buffet. Additional meal purchases are available for your family and friends. Age-group awards are also awarded at this time.
